We will definitely be back with our husbands for a great date night planned of winetasting at the Gull Hummock (probably beer for our husbands and this place has a huge selection of beer!), then a bike ride around the town because the architecture of the homes is amazing and then a sunset walk on the beach.Misty Mountain Camp Resort offers a delightful, relaxing vacation at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains near historic Charlottesville, Virginia. We did put the glasses back in brown bags so we hope you found them! I felt like I was in an old movie from the 1950's where everyone was trusting, kind, honest and happy. Honey popped the cork for us, and John even gave us a few of his wine glasses and just ask we return them by his door as we leave later that night. Having not planned for this we had not corkscrew, glasses etc. We decided we wanted to buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the sunset. What a gem! There was a wine tasting in the back with cheese, crackers, great wine and so many fun people to talk to including John, the store owner along with his wife Honey. My friend and I stumbled upon a free wine tasting sign Friday as we were just exploring the town on a quick get away trip from the noise and traffic of Va Beach.
